Models that reduce the system to a linear system involve considerable approximation, and produce results that are susceptible to instability problems. Our goal is to design a controller that achieves some performance specifications despite these uncertainties in modeling. This paper addresses a robust H∞control problem for switched circuits with parameter uncertainties. The necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of strong robust H∞dynamic compensators and static output feedback controllers are established in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. It is shown that the dynamics of the voltage loop can be significantly improved using an H∞controller.

QoS in packet networks is considered by admission control at the start of a call and QoS mechanisms for QoS support during its lifetime. Here we have made analyses considering the admission of different flows in the wireless part.

  • Cascode current mirrors with low input, output and supply voltage requirements

    Modified wide-swing cascode current mirrors are introduced that achieve low input and output voltage drops. The new structures can be used in low-voltage environments and provide even higher output impedance than regular cascoded current mirrors. With dynamic biasing, high current accuracy and high output impedance can be maintained over a large operating current range.

  • Modified summary graph method solving of the SC circuits

    As there are also graph methods of circuit analysis in addition to algebraic methods, it is clearly possible in theory to carry out an analysis of the whole switched circuit in two-phase switching exclusively by the graph method as well. For this purpose it is possible to plot a Mason graph of a circuit, use transformation graphs to reduce Mason graphs for all the four phases of switching, and then plot a summary Mason-Coates graph from the transformed graphs obtained this way. First we draw nodes and possible branches, obtained by transformation graphs for transfers of EE (even-even) and OO (odd-odd) phases. Branches obtained by transformation graphs for EO and OE phase are drawn, while their resulting transfer is multiplied by equation. In the next step, this summary Mason-Coates graph is transformed into Mason graph. Finally this graph can be interpreted by the Mason's relation to provide transparent voltage transfers.

  • Class A and AB compact switched current memory circuits

    New compact switched current memory cells (CMCs) are proposed, which still maintain the properties of insensitivity to transistor mismatch, channel- length modulation and current sharing. Both class A and class AB structures are investigated, of which the former type has about the same or somewhat better performance than the ordinary memory cell, and the latter type outperforms both of them with respect to power consumption and clock feedthrough. The performance of the proposed structures when used in integrators is also shown.<<ETX>>
