A linear compatible I2L servo LSI for video recording

1980 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Digest of Technical Papers, 1980

This paper will describe an LSI with 3000 I2L gates and 350 linear element, monolithically combined for servo control of VTRs. The circuit includes PWM- type D/A conversion and steady-state error compensation with interface circuitry for playback speed control and editing point adjustment.


Switched-capacitor voltage converter in bipolar technology with 100mA output current

1987 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Digest of Technical Papers, 1987

A voltage converter with 100mA output capability over a 3.5 - 15V range will be reported. Voltage loss is less than 1.2V at 100mA. A bipolar process has been used to obtain switch transistors with low on resistance and high emitter-base breakdown voltage. An adaptive non-overlapping switch drive optimizes efficiency.
