    Housing maintenance has its own unique characteristics and content, therefore, professional knowledge structure and ability of Housing Maintenance Engineers have a special quality requirement. Currently, because of its historical reasons of China's higher engineering education system, there is a gap between engineering education and housing maintenance system. Based on the analysis, this paper proposes feasible solutions to adapt to China's national conditions on the Education System of the Housing Maintenance Engineers. That is establish the Housing Maintenance Engineer Education System, it include establish and improve the system of higher engineering education, reform of the curriculum structure of higher engineering education, improve the continuing education and so on.

    The latest approach to world class maintenance is knowledge-based maintenance management, using specially developed expert systems, suited to individual company or machinery maintenance management systems (KBMMS) can be used by industries for effective maintenance management of their general-purpose machinery. The application, however, can be readily customised to suit each company's various maintenance requirements for different kinds of machinery. Knowledge-based systems for maintenance management can locate the fault and give expert advice to the user to repair the faulty component of the equipment. The knowledge base for maintenance mainly consists of rules describing the relationship between machinery problems and corresponding symptoms.

  • Study on relation model between operational availability and Materiel Readiness of equipment

    There are many studies on materiel readiness presently, but there is no unity recognition on the relation between operational availability and materiel readiness. This paper expatiates to the concepts of availability and materiel readiness, and has a theory derivation of their relation. Otherwise, has an experiment on this model used MATLAB, and discussed the model of the real operational availability and the materiel readiness. Finally, sums up an empirical model, this model can apply in some specifically conditions and demands. The model of this paper can help to check the available level and the designed level of the equipment.

  • Study on availability test procedure of two-unit same redundant system with exponentially distributed up and down times unit

    Under the assumption that time to failure and time to repair of unit are exponentially distributed, this paper presents a general procedure for conducting an inherent availability test with fixed sample size of two-unit same redundant system. Above all, two design principles for general availability test procedure of redundant system are presented. One is that ensuring stated levels of producer's and consumer's risk of the one unit system test and stated levels of producer's and consumer's risk of the redundant system test are met. The other is that conducting general test only by conducting availability test of one unit. Then according to inherent availability of one unit system test procedure, the test procedure for inherent availability of two-unit same redundant system consisting of parallel system, cold standby system and warm standby system is designed to meet stated levels of producer's and consumer's risk based on system availability models. Next, this paper describes design course on the general test procedure which is presented through determining sample size and judgment rule. Finally, this paper analyzes a numerical example.

  • Research of modeling of support service time for multi-echelon equipment maintenance support system based on queue theory

    Based on analyzing the concept of support service time, aiming at the problem of support serve time for multi-echelon equipment maintenance support system, The element and influencing factors of the time are analyzed. Mathematical model is utilized to establish an analyzing support serve time. Based on Queue theory, the model of support serve time for multi-echelon equipment maintenance support system is established.

  • Research on modeling and simulation of combat unit materiel support system mission-oriented

    According to system engineering modeling idea, the framework of modeling and simulation for combat unit materiel support system (CUMSS), which was performing mission, was presented. This paper describe the process of materiel support, analyze its performance index, reengineer the process and optimize the resources. A conceptual model oriented mission was developed based on the comprehensive analysis of maintenance process and resource utilization process. A federation framework was constructed for combat unit materiel support and a federation object model was designed for CUMSS. Taking a mission for example, by using simulation method, the federations for the discrete event, the continual event and the decision-making were developed. Finally, a combat unit materiel support simulation system oriented mission was developed.
