The 2020 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC 2020) will be held in Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC), Toronto, Ontario, Canada. SMC 2020 is the flagship conference of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. It provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners to report most recent innovations and developments, summarize state-of-the-art, and exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of systems science and engineering, human machine systems, and cybernetics. Advances in these fields have increasing importance in the creation of intelligent environments involving technologies interacting with humans to provide an enriching experience and thereby improve quality of life. This paper presents the brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive with direct torque control (DTC) for a washing machine over variable speed range. The system hardware and software programming are analyzed and designed. The flux controller and torque controller are derived and realized accordingly. A prototype of BLDC motor drive based on the DSP controller with DTC control is implemented and validated by the exhibition of waveforms measurement for currents, torque, flux linkage, and speed. The performance of the BLDC motor drive employing DTC is compared with that of BLDC utilizing the PI current control. The simulations are carried out prior to realization of the system implementation. The experimental results not only verify the feasibility of designed system but also demonstrate that BLDC with DTC control has superior characteristics than that with PI current control.

However, even though a one-winding two-speed approach is often used for three-phase induction motors, there is no report on the application of this approach for single-phase induction motors so far. Efforts were made by the authors to design and produce single-phase induction motors with 4-8 pole common winding. Test results have verified the design data and substantial material saving has been achieved.
This paper presents research that conducted in the automotive manufacturing industry, in Indonesia. The process of washing is the process of cleaning part of dust or chips on the part by spraying water and wind. But the results of washing process still get the claim of the customer because the part is still dirty. Therefore, the wind spraying has done manually by operator. The manual process of spraying has extended cycle time. It is not in accordance with the policy of the Industry to lower production costs by reducing cycle time and zero claims. Then it needed a machine that can produce the parts clean and dry so there is no spraying process manually by the operator. Therefore, we designed the final assignment of washing oil pan machine using the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) are in communicate with mist collect, so by using the mist collect can prevent the steam back into water and dripping to the part that is already dry and littering the part. By using this new washing machine works efficiency increase, because the process of spraying the wind manually can be removed and the cycle time down by 65.4 from originally 100.4 seconds to 35 seconds.

One is tapping the rotor and the other is design of barrier shape. Besides, this paper proposes best design of the IPMSM to reduce cogging torque, and the analysis of cogging torque by using FEM is compared with experimental results to verify.

Based on green manufacturing and the conception of green product, this paper establishes product evaluation process of multilevel closed-loop hierarchical through embedded system process model, with the restrictive standard setting for environmental indicators, a one-off test and hierarchical evaluation mechanism, and it also makes summative evaluation and periodic evaluation, diagnostic evaluation and dynamic optimization process organically integrated. After that, with the application process of green washing machine product on fuzzy comprehensive assessment method satisfies the users, the business, the society and even the environment.
As the rapidly development of embedded systems, it is a challenge for universities to fill the gap between education and industry. In this paper, we introduce the experiment designed for embedded system curriculum based on embedded IA first, and then adapt the design to the new promising processor- Atom¿ - developed by Intel. At last, we will share our experiences in the experiment teaching of embedded system.
When the number of objects in the training set is too small for the number of features used, most classification procedures cannot find good classification boundaries. In this paper, we introduce a new technique to solve the one class classification problem based on fitting an implicit polynomial surface to the point cloud of features to model the one class which we are trying to separate from the others.
This paper presents a fruits and vegetables washing machine using ultrasonic technology. The pesticide residues on fruits or vegetables can be peeled off by ultrasonic waves effectively. The washing machine produces two frequencies ultrasonic, 140 kHz f or washing fruits or vegetables and decomposing pesticides, 80 kHz for other cleaning such as dishes. Cleaning experiment and its results are shown in this paper.
Generally, operating efficiency of drum washing machine is mostly affected by the washing time. The washing time is determined by the quantity and the type of the laundry. Although the type of the laundry is easily inputted by the user, however the quantity of the laundry can net be easily. Therefore, this paper suggests that the washing time is adjusted by the inertia estimator which can estimate the quantity of the laundry. The proposed algorithm is implemented on the PMSM drive using the low cost position sensor for practical washing machine application. And the experiment is performed by the motor of drum washing machine for the practical load condition.
