To address this issue, we propose a reinforcement learning process based on the mobile agent model, which makes agents more efficient and intelligent in selecting Web service providers. We developed a generic teaching environment that uses agents to support learning. An agent platform developed in our research group is used. The system is generic in the sense that the cognition core (domain model, student model and instruction model) is separated from the exercise modules and user interfaces. The architecture allows different user interfaces. An application of the environment for nurse training has been implemented.
With the further expansion of business model, the traditional e-commerce platform can not meet the requirements of the development. Comparing with its own non-flexibility, non-mobility, non-compatibility and non-intelligence, this paper distributed intelligent agent based on the framework for e-commerce platform. According to the functional requirements of e-commerce system, we can identify the agent role in the system, such as customer agents, business agents, business centre agents and payment agents. The roles of these agents are intelligent, active, distributive and collaborative; they are also through the framework of multi-agent communication mechanism and intelligent decision- making mechanism for better coordination. Therefore, they are providing better information dissemination and transactions for the business; and also providing the real-time and flexible service for the costumers.
After the improvement of the actual theory of cold roll forming and the practical rolling process, author present the concept of dynamic chain model and node model, research steel strip forming mechanism based on information system. The problems such as the forming process research, the effects of friction on the forming, analysis of stress and strain were studied in the new model. What is more important is the introduction of Intelligent Agent technology, it can intelligently handle problem.
In image retrieval and annotation, multi-instance learning has been studied actively. Most of the methods solve the MIL problem in a supervised way. In this paper, we proposed two unsupervised frameworks for clustering multi- instance objects based on expectation maximization (EM) and iterative heuristic optimization respectively. For each framework, we introduced three new algorithms of finding users' interests on specific Web images without any manual labeled data. And comparative studies have shown the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
The formal description of distributed supervisory and controlling systems can promote development efficiency and decline cost during the procedure of system design and implementation. The goal of our research is to develop a formal modeling methodology for supervisory and controlling systems that have artificially intelligent features. This approach is agent-based and central to the development of the model with mobility agents considering reactivity for real-time purpose and deliberation for optimal realization and other special problems for critical systems like intelligent transportation systems by a Petri nets based formal modeling language. By using nets within nets, a special high-level Petri nets, we investigate the concurrency of the system and the agent behaviors in one model without losing the needed abstraction. The synchronous channels are introduced to denote the communication and coordination among agents. Finally an example is given to illustrate that the formal method is feasible and valid
