PacificVis is a unified visualization conference, welcoming all areas of visualization research such as: information, scientific, graph, security, software and bio- visualization.

  • 2014 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis)

PacificVis 2014 is planned as the 7th international symposium in the Asia-Pacific region, with the consistent objective to foster greater exchange between computer visualization researchers and practitioners, and to draw more researchers in the region to enter this rapidly growing area of research. Computer visualization deals with discrete samples of large-scale, high-dimensional/variate (time-varying), higher-order, frequently uncertain datasets, which ubiquitously arise in measurement and simulation of various application problems in statistics and mathematics; financial, security and business; physical sciences and engineering; earth, space and environmental sciences; bio-medical sciences; documents and software; sociology and education, etc. Expected papers can be characterized with a variety of technical focuses, ranging from design of schemes and algorithms to empirical and comprehension studies and development of system and hardware, display and Interaction technologies.

  • 2015 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis)

    Big data,scientific visualization,information visualization,visual analysis

  • 2016 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis)

The 9th IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis 2016) will be held in Taipei, Taiwan during April 19 to 22, 2016. Visualization has become an increasingly important research area due to its wide range of applications in many disciplines. PacificVis is an IEEE sponsored international visualization symposium held in the Asia-Pacific region, with the objective to foster greater exchange between visualization researchers and practitioners, and to draw more researchers in the Asia-Pacific region to enter this rapidly growing area of research.PacificVis is a unified visualization conference, welcoming all areas of visualization research such as: information, scientific, graph, security, software and bio-visualization. Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research and practical applications in all areas of visualization. We encourage papers in any new, novel, and exciting research area that pertains to visualization.

  • 2017 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis)

PacificVis is a unified visualization symposium, welcoming all areas of visualization research such as: information, scientific, graph, security, software and bio-visualization. Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research and application papers in all areas of visualization. We encourage papers in any new, novel, and exciting research area that pertains to visualization.

  • 2018 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis)

Visualization has become an increasingly important research area due to its wide range of applications in many disciplines. PacificVis has been an IEEE sponsored international visualization symposium held in the Asia-Pacific region since 2008, with the objective to foster greater exchange between visualization researchers and practitioners, and to draw more researchers in the Asia-Pacific region to enter this rapidly growing area of research.

2018 IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR)

Mixed Reality (MR) and Augmented Reality (AR) allow the creation of fascinating new types of user interfaces, and are beginning to show significant impact on industry and society. The field is highly interdisciplinary, bringing together signal processing, computer vision, computer graphics, user interfaces, human factors, wearable computing, mobile computing, computer networks, displays, sensors, to name just some of the most important influences. MR/AR concepts are applicable to a wide range of applications. Since 1998, ISMAR and its forerunner events, IWAR/ISAR and ISMR, have been the premier forums in this vital field.
