According to current situation of domestic coal production safety, thesis propose a scheme of supervising and controlling that it is mixed and low cost and clever wireless network, introduces the systematic structure, analyzes in detail the algorithms of structuring automatically and self-renovating of wireless network, describes the systematic hardware implementation method. Comparing with traditional structure of supervising and controlling system, our system has these remarkable advantages: (1) Network can be automatically established, it is very agile and flexible, and information transmission is safe and reliable; (2) Network can be self-renovated, it is convenient for system maintenance; (3) In case accident happened, according to network state information, we can distinctly know the situation in mine, and gain the precious time for dealing with an emergency; (4) The system is inexpensive, it is suitable to popularization.

In addition, MSV is developing a satellite- terrestrial hybrid communications network that will provide even more interoperable communication opportunities for the homeland security and pubic safety sectors. This paper discusses the current generation SMART program, including a national talkgroup managed by the Department of Justice, a talkgroup for the gulf states established by the Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, and a talk group for the Mid- Atlantic states managed by the Allegany County (MD) Department of Public Safety The paper also discusses MSV's next-generation hybrid network, including two new powerful satellites, and its ability to efficiently connect the public safety community during both day-to-day and emergency operations.
With the increment of the fishery products in China, more and more attention is drawn to the safety of farming fishery products from different levels. China always stressed the importance to the issue of food safety. The wide application of RFID and other technology offers great support to the upgrading of the safety level of fishery products. The paper firstly introduces the application principle of RFID and the five steps from producing area to table of farming fishery products. Then it analyzes the role in the safety risk decrease of farming fishery products that is played by the application of RFID. Finally, it puts forward that the application of RFID can combine the realtime control and feedback control together and therefore can improve the safety level of fishery products in China.
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are getting more integrated to our daily lives and smart surroundings as they are being used for health, comfort and safety applications. In smart homes and office environments, WSNs are generally used to increase the inhabitant comfort. As the current energy grid is evolving into a smart grid, where consumers can directly reach and control their consumption, WSNs can take part in domestic energy management systems, as well. In this paper, we propose the Appliance Coordination (ACORD) scheme, that uses the in-home WSN and reduces the cost of energy consumption. The cost of energy increases at peak hours, hence reducing the peak demand is a major concern for utility companies. The ACORD scheme, aims to shift consumer demands to off-peak hours. Appliances use the readily available in-home WSN to deliver consumer requests to the Energy Management Unit (EMU). EMU schedules consumer requests with the goal of reducing the energy bill. We show that ACORD decreases the cost of electricity usage of home appliances significantly.

This paper introduces home automation very briefly and mentions current standardisation trends in this field. Then, a new system architecture is proposed and its main characteristics are described. The proposed architecture has a distributed nature, is very modular and can be easily expanded in size and functionality. There are only two types of constitutive modules and their roles are described. A given system is composed by several modules interconnected through a network, whose main features are presented. The system's software architecture is also briefly described.
Ergonomics is the application of scientific information related to humans to the design of objects, systems and environment for human use. The objective is to apply human characteristics to the design of computer-based work environments to reduce problems of people at work. Lack of ergonomics has serious repercussions on end-users, including physical and mental illnesses. Using ergonomics to design computer-intensive environments would maximize efficiency, productivity and job satisfaction of employees. Unfortunately, in the Government Sector in Pakistan, there is no application of ergonomics in computer-based environments, and this leads to inefficiencies, errors, and safety and health issues. The purpose of this research paper is to highlight the implications of ergonomics on employees working in a computer-based environment in Pakistan. I will be studying the effects of ergonomics on employee productivity and morale by investigating the problems that occur due to the absence of ergonomics when designing computer-based environments in Government organizations in Pakistan. To conduct the research, I aim to choose an ergonomic model organization, specifically a Multinational company, and study its computer-based environment, studying the ergonomic factors that lead to their increase in employee productivity and morale. I would use these factors to do an extensive survey of 3 Government organizations to highlight the problems that arise because of the lack of ergonomically-designed computer systems and environments.
This paper combines the rough set (RS) theory and support vector machine (SVM), and making best use of the attribute reduction characteristic of RS theory catches the main attribute of the research subjects, and it uses SVM to make prediction model, and applies this method to construction safety pre- warning. The experiment results show that the method is viable, which makes a useful exploration research for the method of construction safety pre-warning.
Many routing protocols have been proposed for sensor network, but most of them have not designed with security as a goal. Sensor protocol for information via negotiation (SPIN) protocol is a basic data centric routing protocol of sensor networks. In this paper, we present the design of secure-SPIN, a secure extension for the SPIN protocol. We divide secure-SPIN into three phases and use some cryptographic functions that require small memory and processing power to create an efficient, practical protocol. Then we give security analyses of this protocol. It shows that this secure protocol may increase the data communication security in wireless sensor networks
Aimed at the deficiency of research and development in management information system for dam safety monitoring (DSMMIS) at home and abroad, considering the developing demand of dam safety monitoring and management, DSMMIS based on B/S (Browser/Server) have been researched. Based on B/S, the system is designed and realized by adopting ASP.NET(C#) technique and SQL server 2005 database, mainly including drafting of the development goal, selection of the development environment, design of the overall structure and system function, and realization of program, etc. The system, with friendly interface, convenient utility and high reliability, has been used successfully in many dam safety monitoring projects such as BiKou, showing good operation condition, being capable of managing all kinds of dam safety monitoring information promptly, accurately and conveniently, monitoring the safe operation of the dam timely.
