    In many countries, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the principal generators of new jobs and economic activity. If guarantee funds are to be effective, a majority of firms can obtain financial assistance through corporate bonds market. This paper describes the mutual guarantee bond which can be a viable solution to the problem of access to credit from capital market for small and middle-entrepreneurs. This work uses a jump diffusion process to estimate the price of mutual guarantee bonds made under the terms of the China Small Business Financing Program. First, a logistic structural model of mutual guarantee bond is built up. The model was then employed to design the logical pricing model of credit spread when an exogenous default process jumps for the first time. A geometrical attenuation function is introduced to reflect the unexpected default of intensities. Furthermore, the pricing model of collective small-medium corporate bonds as the spot interest rate is assumed to follow Vasicek model. Finally, the work tests the pricing model with one thousand times Monte Carlo methods and offer theoretical background and empirical evidence for further financial innovation as well.

  • Asset valuation with unhedgeable risks

    We study a model of optimal portfolio choice for a single agent where investments take place between a bond and a stock account. The price of the bond is riskless as opposed to the price of the stock which is a diffusion process. The coefficients of the latter depend on another diffusion process which is driven by a Brownian motion correlated with the one driving the stock price. The agent's preferences are modelled via a CRRA utility function and his objective is to maximize the expected utility of terminal wealth. Employing a novel transformation, we are able to provide closed form solutions for the investor's value function and the optimal portfolio policies. Special cases of the model we develop are the models of portfolio management with stochastic volatility and with nonlinear stock dynamics.

  • Affirmation of minority carrier lifetime during industrial process of crystalline silicon solar cell by microwave phtonconductance decay method

    Minority carrier lifetime was determined by MW-PCD method following the industry process well and truly. The wafer as-cut without any treatment showed an effective lifetime about 1.2mus. Then it rose to 2.5~5mus after one side was passivated by silicon nitride. The average lifetime with double layer passivation sharply increased to 48mus average, even over 100mus locally. The escape of hydrogen was discovered after sintering. The electron collection ability between Ag and Al was also compared by effective lifetime testing.

    Diffusing zinc into Ga/sub 0.47/In/sub 0.53/As/InP MQW layers is found to cause strong intermixing of the group III elements, which changes the composition in the quantum wells and barriers. As a result of this disordering the MQW bandgap is reduced in energy and the photoluminescence emission peak moves to longer wavelength.<<ETX>>

    Boron diffusion in Silicon using B+ solid source has been studied over the temperature range of 950-1150/spl deg/C in Nitrogen (N/sub 2/) ambient. The depth of the diffused layer was measured by a grooving method, and the diffusion profile was performed by using Spreading Resistance technique. The predeposition step in the diffusion process resulted in a constant surface concentration. The data is required to contribute to our wafer processing used for bipolar and MOS devices as well as for services in boron diffusion processing for anyone who required this process.
