The paper proposes a new way of comprising the Non-negative matrix factorization (NMF) and Testor theory to make topic discovery. NMF method is good at dealing with high dimensional documents and clustering, while Testor theory is used to find the topic of each cluster. By an example of ten abstracts of Chinese science literature from magazines relative to environmental science, the whole process is described in detail. In the end, a case study about automatic classification of a conference proceeding (in Chinese) is given. The result shows the effectiveness of the whole method.

In this paper, we have explored the random dopant effects on the characteristics of the 16nm single- and multiple-gate SOI MOSFETs using a full-scale 3D atomistic simulation technique. For device with the same Vth, the multiple-gate devices not only provide uniform potential within device's channel, but also alter conducting path for more stable current flow. It has been estimated that the Vth's flucutaion of double-, triple-, and surrounding- gate SOI MOSFETs are 2.2, 3.3, and 4 times smaller than planar one, respectively. A preliminary insight into the intrinsic fluctuation and its mechanism of immunity in multiple-gate SOI devices has been drawn.
These instructions give you basic guidelines for preparing camera-ready papers for conference proceedings. The paper here studies the brittleness problem existing in a communication system, tells that the brittleness is one basic property of a communication system. According to brittleness definition, we set up the mathematic model of communication system, which includes two levels: channel transmission and random noise. Simulation on a real instance- duality discrete information source is done. The result shows that the collapse of a communication system is due to the random noise disturbance happening in the message transmitting process which leads the system to bring "the uncertainty," causing the message receiving failure from the message sending source , i.e. when the "negative entropy" supplied from outside doesnpsilat be satisfied, the disorder of the messages increases, leading the whole system to the final collapse.
A planar double-gate FD-SOI is compared with the bulk CMOS in terms of low- voltage operations. It turns out that due to the small VT variation the FD-SOI is suitable for deep-sub-1 V operations with improved voltage margin of RAM cells and sense amplifiers, and reduced speed variations of logic gates
The educational benefits of adapting a writing approach in the classroom have been widely documented. Writing can serve as a tool to improve the quality of teaching as well as to promote deeper and more meaningful student learning. In this session, we explore various strategies in which writing can be used to enhance student understanding in introductory physics and engineering classrooms by summarizing three unique projects designed to address the role of writing in terms of the assessment of student learning.
