    All over the world, China is one of the main countries in ceramic manufacturing, while it is factually weak in ceramic export. How to promote the quality of ceramic products? It is a main mode to reform the instrument of ceramic decorative pattern to promote the quality of ceramics and enhance its competitiveness. This paper mainly discusses the module of ceramic pattern¿s cooperative design system based on Internet, proceeds to analyze and induce the technology of the protocols of communication, which corresponds with the ceramic pattern¿s cooperative design system. Meanwhile, it puts forward the concept of designer-customer cooperation in the procedure of designing ceramic patterns. It mainly studies the design procedure under designer-customer cooperative design system and the realization of the core algorithm of designer-customer cooperative design system, and its implementation and use in interactive ceramic pattern design system based on Internet.

    How to achieve the sustainable development of the architectural ceramics industry has become an urgent problem pressing for solution. This paper analyzes the industrial system of the architectural ceramics industry (ACI) in a sustainable manner, and puts forward a system framework of “characteristics constructional architectural ceramics industry e-conomy - resources and environment”. Based on the causal relationship between them, the paper makes sure that the basic goal of the sustainable development of ACI is to set up a mechanism, which can satisfy the coordinated development of socio-economy and ACI with the consideration of the carrying capacity of resources and environment. Also the paper indicates several key points on the choice of its sustainable development model and promoting measures.

  • The Complex Network Analysis of Competitive Relationships between Manufacturers in Foshan Ceramic Industry Cluster

    Competition between companies in microlevel has been greatly developed in academic research. While at the macro level, due to the huge quantities of companies in an industry, among which competitive relationships are quite complex, there are many barriers for the conclusions in micro competition research to be placed in the macro context. However, the development of complex network theories has allowed us to depict the relationship between companies with network. In terms of complex network, we will not be able to study microcompetition behavior before we could properly depict the topological feature of the competition relationship network (CRN) between companies. This paper chooses 662 main ceramic manufacturers in Guangdong Foshan ceramic industry cluster to construct a CRN, and it proves that the network defined by competition relationship is a highly clustered scale-free network which exhibits small-world feature. We think the growth, preferential attachment and old nodes to establish new connection are the main dynamic mechanism of the network. What is more, we find that the oldest nodes in the network do not have the highest degree, and give our explanation to the interesting phenomenon. It may be the split of old nodes, or the aging or decrepitude mechanism during the evolution process of the network

  • Study and Implementation of Ceramic Pattern Intelligent Design

    Ceramic products are often decorated with patterns during the process of manufacturing in order to highlight their qualities. Using information technology to simulate ceramic pattern design is a new means of inheriting, understanding and creating cultures. Based on the study of the thinking process of ceramic pattern design by analyzing and summarizing a large number of ceramic patterns, a way of knowledge expression is proposed, an inference engine as well is designed and implemented in the paper. With the aid of Visual C++ and SQL Server, a ceramic pattern intelligent design system is developed. Until now, we have worked out some diversified ceramic patterns through the use of the system.

  • Connecting piezoelectric pickups to magnetic-pickup amplifiers

    The majority of phonograph pickups and pickup amplifiers in use today fall into two classes: (1) Velocity-responsive (magnetic) pickups operating directly (or with the aid of a transformer) into high-gain amplifiers with input impedances of 20,000 ohms or more; and (2) displacement-responsive (piezoelectric) pickups operating into low-gain high-impedance amplifiers, with input impedance of the order of 1-5 MΩ. There is a general belief that pickups of Class 1 cannot be connected to amplifiers in Class 2, and vice versa. This belief is only partly correct. Magnetic pickups generate voltages of 10-30 millivolts at 1 kc on standani test records and require a degree of gain and compensation not available in amplifiers of Class 2. However, piekups in Class 2 often generate voltages of .2-.8 volts or more, and by use of simple networks can be used satisfactorily with amplifiers of Class 1. The author discusses a method for converting an amplitude-responsive pickup into a velocity-responsive pickup.

  • Ceramic Product Forming Technologies Research Based on 3D Printing

    This paper describes two ceramic-forming technologies based on 3-D printing. One technology forms the product with 3-D printing indirectly, while the other technology forms the product directly with 3-D printing. The whole 3-D printing technique, including computer-aided design, 3-D printing of a model with plastic filament, molding with plaster, and slip-casting, was shown to produce a pineapple cup. Compared with the traditional ceramic-forming technology, the new method is more efficient, and articles can be precisely made especially for mass production of complicated designs.

  • Research on key technology of ceramic 3D CAD system

    With the development of computer technology, the application of high technology in the ceramic industry is more and more popular. According to the modeling characteristics and production process requirements of ceramic products, this paper proposes an implementation method of 3D CAD system for ceramic industry. Relying on the advanced technology and kernel of ThinkDesign in curved surface processing and solid modeling, the system will realize an easy-to-use function of ceramic products special-type structure using GSM-a top technology, and help designers design new products quickly by establishing classified 3D material library of component models of ceramic products.
