    The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of green roof on urban ecological environment and indoor environment for green buildings. The human settlement and indoor environment of green buildings and common buildings were evaluated based on green building assessment system. Results show that green roof could directly weaken the urban heat island effect and greenhouse gases. The temperature of roof inner surface is reduced, and indoor thermal comfort is effectively improved. The energy consumption in green roof buildings is not too great, but residential quality is very satisfactory. Green roof is one of effectively technical measures of development low-carbon building and low- carbon city.

  • Toward green skyscrapers: An ecological perspective on high-rise buildings of the future

    The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of green skyscrapers and green building assessment systems, and to explore potential technoecology for green building design. Today, many bold decisions are made based on factors affecting energy performance of greenscraper, which have been influenced by regulatory changes, technical development, new materials, innovative designs in architecture and economic drivers. High technology is increasingly relied upon as an ecological solution by architects, planners, developers, and policymakers. High-tech based ecological strategies rely on scientific site study including environmental evaluation, climatic parameters with historical date, lifelong environmental impacts of new construction, and ecological and economic sustainability, etc. To begin to understand how technoecological methods has become a large portion of the design process, this article traces the birth and growth of high-rise buildings driven by changes of ecological solutions, advanced energy saving strategies and technoscience. The paper concludes by categorizing the critical history of tall buildings in energy use into five successive phases based on their energy consumption that outlining the future agenda of ecological technology.

  • The research framework of the technical integration in “green renovation” for the existing residential

    The plenty of existing residence in China is facing renewal and transformation. We need to utilize the low-carbon idea in the transformation process, meanwhile use the massive technical integration. Not only carries on the synthesis transformation in terms of form, performance and equipment with the original housing, but also pursue the green construction technology positively during the transformation process at the same time. Avoiding the great variety of energy consumption and the construction influence which generated during construction. And ensure that the residential green building energy efficiency standards can be achieved after the transformation.

  • Analysis of influence factors of the popularization of green buildings based on fuzzy DEMATEL method

    The influence factor index system of the popularization of green buildings is built. The inter-relations between each pair of indexes are decided by making inquires of the experts, and the effects of factors are analyzed using a fuzzy DEMATEL method. All factors are divided into cause factors and effect factors. The key facctors such as lack of prompting policy, poor energy conservation technology and poor green building materials are figured out.
