2021 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE)

FUZZ-IEEE 2021 will represent a unique meeting point for scientists and engineers, both from academia and industry, to interact and discuss the latest enhancements and innovations in the field. The topics of the conference will cover all the aspects of theory and applications of fuzzy sets, fuzzy logic and associated approaches (e.g. aggregation operators such as the Fuzzy Integral), as well as their hybridizations with other artificial and computational intelligence techniques.

The 2020 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC 2020) will be held in Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC), Toronto, Ontario, Canada. SMC 2020 is the flagship conference of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. It provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners to report most recent innovations and developments, summarize state-of-the-art, and exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of systems science and engineering, human machine systems, and cybernetics. Robust stability of some classes of integral delay systems

This paper focuses on the robust stability analysis of some classes of integral delay systems which naturally appear in several stability and robust stability problems of time-delay systems.     This paper focuses on the robust stability analysis of some classes of integral delay systems which naturally appear in several stability and robust stability problems of time-delay systems. The results are derived by using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach and provide sufficient delay-dependent conditions for the exponential stability of perturbed integral delay systems.

  • Event-triggered sampling and control of switched delay systems

    The event-triggered control has been paid lots of attention due to its effectiveness and flexibility of reducing congestion and saving cost on designing of network control systems. However, few results have appeared on event-triggered control for switched delay systems. We thus consider the event-triggered sampling and stabilization problem for switched linear delay systems in this paper. The event considered here means the error signal exceeding a dynamic threshold. The event-triggered sampler updates and transfers the state information when an event is triggered. The switching signal is given satisfying an average dwell time condition, under which globally exponential stability of the switched delay system can be guaranteed.

  • Robust Output Tracking Control for Markovian Jump Time-delay Systems with Uncertain Mode Transition Rates

    The robust output feedback control problem is studied for a class of Markovian jump time-delay systems with uncertain switching probabilities. Sufficent conditions on the stochastic stability with prescribed H∞tracking performance are proposed using a slack weighting matrix method. The conditions and the optimal design of the controller are formulated as a set of direct linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). Further more, the tolerable bound of the perturbation of the mode transition rates is also presented.

  • Delay-Dependent Stability for Time-Delay Systems with Nonlinear Perturbations

    We study the stability of a class of time-delay systems with nonlinear perturbations. A new delay-dependent stability condition which can deal with arbitrarily time-varying delays is formulated by constituting a Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional, the result has less conservatism than those presented before. Numerical examples are presented to indicate significant improvements over some existing results

  • Improved stability criteria for linear time-delay systems using complete LKF method

    This paper revisits the stability problem for linear systems with time-varying delay and provides new stability conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The basic idea is the use of complete Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) method and the derivation employs the discretization technique and the reciprocally convex combination. The main feature of this work lies in that the present result not only leads to some improvements over existing results in the LMI framework but also is applicable for time-delay systems with unstable delay-free case. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness and merits of the present result.

  • Delay-Dependent Stabilization for Continuous-Time Piecewise Time-Delay Systems

    The delay-dependent stabilization problem for continuous-time piecewise time- delay systems was investigated by using piecewise continuous Lyapunov function. A strict linear matrix inequality approach is developed to obtain delay-dependent asymptotic stability condition. The stabilization problem is solved by exploiting the cone complementarity linearization (CCL) method. Finally two examples are given to illustrate the application of the proposed approach

  • Lyapunov matrices for time delay systems
