    It is important to design an integrated information resource management platform in supply chain system. In this paper, the practical problems to integrate supply chain information are firstly put forward. Then Design-Chain Operations Reference-model (DCOR model) is introduced, which is a cross- industry tool for design-chain management. Finally, this paper designs the logical model and workflow model of integrated supply chain information resource management platform on the base of DCOR model. Integrated information resources management platform of supply chain can be divided into the following components: information database, information metadata database, information resource directory, knowledge database and relevant information standards. The workflow of integrated supply chain information resource management platform is discussed. The process of designing DCOR-based platform is analyzed, with the guide of DCOR model, the integrated information resources management platform of supply chain can be designed in six steps.

    This paper discusses the rationale for the implementation of information value (IV) based information resource management (IRM) of the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN). DoD transport resources are currently managed using multiple non-integrated allocation systems including precedence and preemption, circuit assignment priorities, and commercial restoral priorities. The integration of DoD transport resources into an integrated DISN leads to a requirement for integrated resource management.   • Done Yet? A Critical Introspective of the Cloud Management Toolbox

    With the rapid rise of the cloud computing paradigm, the manual maintenance and provisioning of the technological layers behind it, both in their hardware and virtualized form, became cumbersome and error-prone. This has opened up the need for automated capacity planning strategies in heterogeneous cloud computing environments. However, even with mechanisms to fully accommodate customers and fulfill service-level agreements, providers often tend to over- provision their hardware and virtual resources. A proliferation of unused capacity leads to higher energy costs, and correspondingly, the price for cloud technology services. Capacity planning algorithms rely on data collected from the utilized resources. Yet, the amount of data aggregated through the monitoring of hardware and virtual instances does not allow for a manual supervision, much less data analysis or a correlation and anomaly detection. Current data science advancements enable the assistance of efficient automation, scheduling and provisioning of cloud computing resources based on supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques. In this work, we present the current state of the art in monitoring, storage, analysis and adaptation approaches for the data produced by cloud computing environments, to enable proactive, dynamic resource provisioning.
