Inception to application: A GENI based prototype of an open Marketplace for network services

2016 IEEE Conference on Computer Communications Workshops (INFOCOM WKSHPS), 2016

Choice-based network architecture enables users the power to choose services from a set of network service offerings from multiple providers within a marketplace. To facilitate marketplace alternatives and enable fine-grain service composition, a common service specification should represent a general-extensible design for describing a service. This allows users to discover, negotiate, and purchase network services from service providers using service ...

  • Architecting the design for demand draft generation using the automated teller machine

Automation of any processes in an efficient way that affect the mankind is an increasing demand of recent times. This includes the automation process that aims at instant generation of demand draft using the automated teller machine assigning a unique number for each demand draft generated coupled with availability of information for the same on the mobile. It also includes minimizing the transactions with respect to the financial institution for demand draft generation. Hence, the aim of this paper is to provide an efficient and convenient mechanism for the generation of demand draft using Automated Teller Machine. It also takes care of security issues to prevent its forceful generation by any means. There is a need to automate this process by making an instant debit on the user account from which demand draft generation is requested and credit to the account after producing the same to any respective financial institution or through the ATM itself. Also, the technical and the financial complexity of automated process are reduced by installing module within the automated teller machine which is globally accessible. This has been automated using RESTful web services which reduces the burden on the financial server.

  • An empirical study on CRM as a tool to assess customer satisfaction for banks — A comparison of Public sector bank with a Private sector bank

CRM has emerged as a strategic tool to develop, maintain and enhance relationship with customers by using existing information of customers with the banks. This research work is a comparative study of a Public sector bank and a Private sector bank which adopted CRM tool to achieve competitive advantage over its competitors. The study evaluates the satisfaction level of customers on 8 dimensions of CRM. The study was carried out with a sample of 250 respondents in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The survey was conducted using a validated closed ended questionnaire. The findings confirms a relatively higher level of satisfaction in the Private sector bank, attributed mainly to channel management aspects including bank facilities, ATM facilities, on-line banking services and telephonic banking. The customers of the Public sector bank were more satisfied with the front end services including services provided by Customer Service Representative /teller and Supervisors/Managers.

  • Minitrack Introduction

This joint minitrack on Mobile Commerce and Value Services is focused on mobile business models and value services. Foresight scenarios indicated already in the late 1990es that mobile commerce would become a mainstream business with the growing number of mobile phones in the world; the estimate now is that we will reach 3 billion mobile phones by 2008. The reasoning is simple: with a global technology platform and growing numbers of developed mobile services, mobile commerce will become a huge industry. The future development of mobile technology will rely on usable and valuable mobile services and the use of mobile services will be an integral part of the revenues to be generated by third generation mobile phones.

  • An extensive resolution of ATM security systems

In the present scenario, public pursuing a energetic and comfortable way of lifestyle, the ATM provide a pleasant advantage to public on losing their time in the bank for many hours[10]. At the same time, there are many ATM robberies are occurred, even if the CCTV cameras are placed in the ATM centers. The security risks are card cloning and ATM PIN release etc., automated Teller gadget security pursuits to shield towards the somatic and digital theft. To ditch the ATM fraudulent electronic transaction technique is used as a safeguard[9]. in order to avoid the ATM robberies maximum of the systems offers various forms of supervising options[9]. To improve the security various techniques are combines to give a better result. The purpose of this paper is to present a survey about different techniques used for ATM security purpose and about confrontations facing in it.

  • Inception to application: A GENI based prototype of an open Marketplace for network services

Choice-based network architecture enables users the power to choose services from a set of network service offerings from multiple providers within a marketplace. To facilitate marketplace alternatives and enable fine-grain service composition, a common service specification should represent a general-extensible design for describing a service. This allows users to discover, negotiate, and purchase network services from service providers using service advertisements in the marketplace. We have successfully developed a ChoiceNet prototype which rectifies some of the shortcomings of the earlier prototypes and demonstrates a contractual agreement between multiple network service providers to realize multiple end-to-end application scenarios using the common service specification within the GENI environment. Our implementation showcases the integration of two contrasting payment models for the procurement of contractual agreements for network services. Successful agreements results in the provisioning of the advertised network services. This demo helps in visualizing the network service life cycle as seen by the Marketplace.

  • Emt: Architecture of easy money transaction machine

In This Paper I propose that, in future all corporate office and shopping mall will have their own money transaction machine for their customer and their employee and they will provide their own unique identity card with money transaction facility to their regular customer and employ this Easy Money Transaction [EMT] is like an Automated Teller Machine [ATM] but it has some different feature like call security of that organization at the time of some critical problem. The concept to design that architecture is only to make easy life of the user. The purposed architecture is realized using HDL language.

  • A Study on Adopting Smart Payment System

This is a preliminary study on the issues which relate to the technology adoption of virtual currency systems. Recently, the use of electronic forms of payments and financing have been increasing rapidly as the technology such as a smartcard, a biometric, a 2D optical code, and so on, have gained more sophistication with the ubiquitous usage of smartphones. Furthermore, the virtual currency systems such as blockchain crypto-currency are expected to accelerate the use of mobile payment services involving more users who were not early adopters of these smart technologies. This preliminary study investigates the potential user's behaviors in the adoption of the Smart Payment System (SPS). By asking questions of the Big-Five personality traits together with the questions of the Technology Acceptance Model to Japanese university students, 102 responses were collected. This study is a research- in-progress using Smart PLS-SEM about the adoption mechanism of SPS utilizing the data mentioned above.

  • A Study on the Determinants of Consumer's Atittude to IB Adoption: An Extended Research Based on TPB Model

With the fast development of IT, Internet Banking(IB) has become an important component of our daily life, and the research on IB consumer behavior has also become a hotspot in both theoretical and practical aspect. Based on TPB which analyze consumer behavior from atittude to behavior, subjective norm and perceived behavior control, the paper analyzed consumer's atittude to IB adoption(AIBA)'s determinants from IB service quality(IBSQ), customer perceived value(CPV) and customer perceived risk(CPR). We hoped to provide marketing or management suggestions to commercial bank's IB development and tried to make a new development about TPB.
