  • The Application Research on Knowledge Management of Project Manager

    Project manager, as an overall, omni competent, and whole process principal, plays a key role in fulfilling project goals. How to execute knowledge management, systematically accumulate, generate and refine the experiences of every project manager in order to promote the diffusion and sharing of invisible knowledge is very important. This paper summarizes nine responsibilities of a project manager, including integrated management, scope management, time management, quality control, human resources management, information management, risk management, and purchasing management. We figure out performance objectives of every responsibility, and visualize the invisible knowledge into required knowledge and skills through process of project manager' s self-description and team discussion. We can then find the sharing knowledge point, draw the knowledge map with gradually accumulation, durative conclusion and promotion to achieve the win-win situation between individual project manager and enterprise training.

    This International Standard provides requirements for the management of the content used in product life cycle, software, and service management system documentation. Content management allows an organization to control the storage and retrieval of content objects, track content revisions, maintain a content audit trail, and enable a collaborative environment. Component content management supports the reuse of content objects among deliverables and supports multiple deliverable formats. Content objects that are unique and are maintained as independent database objects are efficient to review, approve, and update; may be combined to produce multiple deliverables; and are cost- effective to translate. The standard defines the characteristics of an effective and efficient process through which content is gathered, managed, and published, including the requirements of a system that is supported by an electronic database. Such a database should support documents or topics and content units that may be assembled to produce complete documents for print, electronic output, or content collections published through electronic media. This database is defined as a component content management system (CCMS), as distinct from a document management system. The objective of component content management is to create content objects once and use them through linking mechanisms in multiple output formats including but not limited to documents. Systems conforming to this standard can fulfill business needs for content development and management, especially the need for a single source of authoritative information. The standard includes business case considerations for acquisition of a content management system. This International Standard is independent of the software tools and markup languages that may be used to manage documentation content, and applies to both printed documentation and on-screen documentation.

  • An Innovative Research on the Mechanism of Integrated Strategic Financial Risk Management in the State-Owned Enterprise Group - Based on the Balanced Scorecard

    When strategic management becomes the highest level and chief mission of corporate management in the State-owned enterprise group (SOE group), strategic risk management becomes the key stage of strategic management which determines the efficiency of strategic management. Strategic financial risk management in the SOE group which is based on the balanced scorecard (BSC) is the key content of the corporate strategic risk management; it impacts directly on the efficiency of the decision-making and operating of the strategic financial management. This paper studies the formation and efficient implementation mechanism of strategic financial risk management; it orients through the strategic financial risk management view, follows the stakeholders' Win-Win cooperation logic in the SOE group, and regards the efficient allocation of financial-right as a path. The study discloses the connotation of integrated strategic financial risk management in the SOE group based on the BSC; analyses its features including comprehensive idea, systemic structure, process interactivity, controllable efficiency etc.; dissects its operating mechanism of integration-systematization; puts forward the efficient implementation mechanism including interactivity management, contingency management, balanced management, idea management, boundary management and enterprise risk management (ERM) mechanism. In this research, we aim at ensuring that the SOE group can achieve the strategic financial objectives by managing the strategic financial risk effectively

  • SEM-based research on integration between project management and supplier management

    Structural equation model is widely used in economic field, but it has not been adequate in project management, especially construction industry. This paper investigates the operation of the entire supplier activities, reveals the core factors of the integration between project management and supplier management, and also analyses the extent to which these factors rely on the supplierpsilas responsibility. 8 hypothesis of the integration have been put forward. A case study is carried on applying structural equation model (SEM) to validate them. The result shows that the integration between project management and supplier management has significant, direct, and positive impacts on construction industry, such as enhancing quality, controlling progress, lowering costs and ensuring safety. The management ability of the suppliers has direct impacts on the effectiveness of the project management.
