Based on analyzing the characteristic of the maintenance support system, considering the requirement and authenticity, the maintenance support system was to be simplified, the efficiency of system was analyzed, and then the simulation model of the maintenance support system's efficiency was constructed applying Petri-net and its software ExSpect. Finally, an example was probed to validate the correctness and the usability of simulation model.

Based on the definition of maintenance functions analysis process, this paper comparatively analyzes the Three Level Maintenance (3LM) and Two Level Maintenance (2LM) functions. Considering standards and depth of Reliability Maintainability Design, we discuss the traditional 2LM functions and operation processes, and further make sure of 2LM functions and operation process. Research results have some values in planning maintenance levels for new aircraft and reducing maintenance levels for active aircraft.

Reliability supervision includes the collection, identification, evaluation and disposal of the various meaningful information from signs of the failure or damage is about to take place. It can dynamically verify the validity of maintenance tasks, and improve the maintenance program continuously, which is the guarantee of reliability and operational safety of aircraft. This paper keeps focus on the main problem of aircraft reliability supervision and continuous improvement of maintenance program. Which contains: Firstly, make certain supervision objects. Select those items to supervise, which have safety, operational, significant economic consequences of functionally failure with a Hazard Risk Assessment Matrix. Secondly, data collection system is established. Failures, maintenance and operation information were collected. Thirdly, method of reliability evaluation and early-warning was developed. Through the supervision and statistics of relevant reliability parameters, a trends statistical chart is drawn. Warning information is sent out while the limit value is outrun. Finally, analyses the causation and replies of problems. The causation should be found when parameter is out of alarm value. Improvement proposition about design and manufacture should be given when the product has quality problem. For the problems of maintenance program settings, perform analysis on the applicability of maintenance type, the effectiveness and rationality of maintenance interval, validity of the operation method. And then put forward concrete proposition on improving maintenance program and maintenance operation cards.

It also established the connection model between maintenance interval period and availability in the lifecycle, and computed the average availability related to the fixed maintenance interval period and switch rule. As shown in a case study, the optimal maintenance interval period that can ensure the availability is maximal. This approach can be used for maintenance decision-making.
Preventive maintenance scheduling is a complex maintenance management activity that involves the consideration of several factors: maintenance technicians' availability, available machine periods, maintenance skills required and, task duration and its set date of achievement. When resources are scarce and time to perform maintenance is limited due to high utilization of equipment, tasks are delayed in relation to the date set for achievement. In this context, maintenance tasks must be prioritized to minimize the delays of critical tasks and, consequently, the overall negative impact. Thus, tasks classification is considered the first step of maintenance scheduling. This paper presents a multi-criteria classification using a risk-based approach to prioritize preventive maintenance tasks. The developed method can be easily integrated in a computerized maintenance management system to support maintenance scheduling.

According to the current circumstances, the cultivating and training of the newest armored equipments maintenance support personnel is difficult to meet army's demand all the time, and can't meet the needs of equipments development either, we researched the maintenance training simulation system which is basic to half-practicality and virtual reality technology in chief. We made the overall design of the armored equipments weapon, which is aimed at the weapen system, and developed the half-practicality maintenance training subsystem according to the reform of simulator, and the virtual maintenance training subsystem and teachinging board to show the control principles, what these thing we do is very important to open up means of maintenance training and improve the level of maintenance support personnel, and provide maintenance training experience for the others weapon equipments.
Summary form only given. Software is the cornerstone of the modern society. Many human activities rely on software systems that shall operate seamlessly 24/7, and failures in such systems may cause severe problems and considerable economic loss. To efficiently address a growing variety of increasingly complex activities, software systems rely on sophisticated technologies. Most software systems are assembled from modules and subsystems that are often developed by third party organization, and sometime are not even available at the system build time. This is the case for example of many Web applications that link Web services built and changed independently by third party organizations while the Web applications are running. The progresses of software engineering in the last decades have increased the productivity, reduced the costs and improved the reliability of software products, but have not eliminated the occurrence of field failures. Detecting and removing all faults before deployment is practically too expensive even for systems that are simple and fully available at design time, and impossible when systems are large and complex, and are dynamically linked to modules that may be developed and distributed only after the deployment of the system. The classic stop-and- go maintenance approaches that locate and fix field faults offline before deploying new system versions are important, but not sufficient to guarantee a seamless 24/7 behavior, because the faulty systems remain in operation until the faults have been removed and new systems redeployed . On the other hand, classic fault tolerant approaches that constrain developers' freedom and rely on expensive mechanisms to avoid or mask faults do not match the cost requirements of many modern systems, and do not extend beyond the set of safety critical systems . Self-healing systems and autonomic computing tackle these new challenges by moving activities from design to runtime. In self-healing systems, the borderline between design and runtime activities fades, and both design and maintenance activities must change to enable activities such as fault diagnoses and fixes to be performed fully automatically and at runtime. Maintenance activities rely on information that are usually available at design time are are not part of the system runtime infrastructure. For example, corrective maintenance requires some knowledge about the expected system behavior to locate and fix the faults, while adaptive and perfective maintenance requires some knowledge about libraries and components to identify new modules that better cope with the the changes in the requirements and in the environment. In classic maintenance approaches, this knowledge is mastered by the developers, who gather and use the required information offline to deal with the emerging maintenance problems. In self healing systems the knowledge required for maintenance activities shall be available at runtime. Self healing systems shall be designed with enough embedded knowledge to deal with unplanned events, and shall be able to exploit this information automatically and at runtime to recover from unexpected situations, like field failures. The challenges of designing powerful self- healing systems relies in the ability to minimize the amount of extra knowledge to be provided at design time, while feeding a powerful automatic recovery mechanism. An interesting approach relies on the observation that software systems are redundant by nature, and exploits the intrinsic redundancy of software system to fix faults, thus minimizing the extra effort required at design time to feed the self-healing mechanism . The intrinsic redundancy of software stems from design and reusability practice: the reuse of libraries may results in different ways to achieve the same or similar results, the design for modularity may produce methods with equivalent behavior, backward compatibility may keep deprecated and new implementations in the same system. For example, libraries like Ant and Log4J implement several functionalities already available in the standard Java libraries to improve efficiency or usability, while graphical libraries, like SWT, Swing and AWT, provide overlapping functionality that may be available in systems that include two or more of these libraries. This redundancy is available for free at runtime, and can be exploited both to design self-healing mechanisms that can be automatically activated to solve faulty situations at runtime, and to improve maintenance mechanisms by facilitating failure reproduction and fault localization and fixing.
With the rapid development of the virtual reality technology, shortcomings of the conventional real equipments maintenance training can be remedied by adopting virtual maintenance training technology. This paper reviews the significance and development status of virtual maintenance based on virtual reality technology, including the basic functions and module design of equipments virtual maintenance training system, such as construction and principle learning module, real component level dismantlement and assemble module, decomposability and combining, fault check and removing module, control and examining module, etc. The basic data necessary to realize the virtual maintenance training system are identified and how to obtain these data is discussed, including maintenance items, maintenance training contents, fault database and maintenance training behavior simulation. On the basis of above results, the system framework is designed, which can be used for the development and integration of all kinds of equipment virtual maintenance training systems.
