What Are IEEE Bylaws?

IEEE Bylaws are the foundational governance documents that define the operational rules, organizational structure, and procedural requirements of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Together with the IEEE Constitution, which sets out the organization's fundamental objectives and can only be amended by a vote of the full membership, the Bylaws establish how IEEE functions on a day-to-day institutional level.
