A system of electric remote-control accounting

Electrical Engineering, 1938

THE ACCOUNTING system which will be outlined in this paper will be discussed mainly in its application to a department store. However, it will not require any great stretch of the imagination to visualize the application of the same system and devices to other fields, including factory production control and pay rolls, public-utility accounts receivable, and others.

China's energy and environment

IEEE Power and Energy Magazine, 2006

While the continued emergence of China's economy has benefited its own people and other nations as well, it has negatively affected its energy resources and the environment. It has thus become critical for China to curb its energy consumption and environmental impact for sustainable development. Recognizing the problem, the Chinese government has moved to enshrine in policy making the concept ...

In order to improve personal data security in the electronic commerce, and to avoid information exposing of personal privacy, personal data was used as the encrypted principle, applying homomorphism and random perturbation to strengthen personal data security. This paper analyze the usage of personal data in electronic commerce firstly, then discuss the P3P to realize security of personal data. This mechanism cannot guarantee that Web sites do act according to their policies once they have obtained user's personal data. In light of this, a new algorithm was used to acquire improved security. The proposed algorithm uses homomorphism as principle to preserve privacy. This method can make the important data to be appeared with secret content in the web service, and prevent personal data from being misused. The simulation results proved that the modified method can protect personal privacy effectively, and can carry on data mining to provide the characteristic service for the customer, and modified method has shorter response time.

It has thus become critical for China to curb its energy consumption and environmental impact for sustainable development. • Information Extraction Based on Table Area Locating for E-Commerce Websites

Efficient extracting merchandise information is the key technology for e-commerce searching engine. By analyzing Web table characters of HTML pages of e-commerce Websites, this article proposes the notion of table area locating, and decomposes the merchandise information extraction into three key processes: searching preparative core areas (PCA), locating core area (CA) and extracting attribute values from core-area, and then design the algorithm of locating core area and the algorithm of extracting attributes names and values. We experimented with the new approach on some HTML pages from various e-commerce Websites. The results indicate that this approach can locate merchandise information area and extract attributes names and values efficiently, and have better performance of precise and recall.

  • A New Method Considering Creditability Degree and Connection of Buyers and Sellers in E-Broker System

In the situation that there is not enough consideration about the trust level of the buyers and sellers in the existing connection methods which considers buyers' attributes more, a connection method based on the buyers and sellers is proposed, which heightens the importance of the trust level of the users in the computing of the transaction success probability. In this paper, we propose a material computing method for the attribute value, which is used in the new connection method. We use an improved trust model based on multiple factors for computing the users' creditability degree, which heightens the validity of the user's creditability degree. Theory and experiments all show that this method is more objective.

  • Study on the Influence of Trade Protective Measures on Chinese Electromechanical Products

Since 1994, electromechanical products have been the most export products in China. With the sustainable and quick export growth of the electromechanical products, trade protective measures on electromechanical products in the international market are becoming more and more intensive. Based on the new situation, the paper used the cost-benefit method of economics to analyze the influence of trade protective measures on electromechanical products export. Firstly, the paper generalized the kinds of trade protective measures affecting Chinese electromechanical products export; secondly, analyzed the influence of trade protective measures on electromechanical products cost; finally, analyzed the benefit game between customers and electromechanical firms, which made us more clearly recognize the essence of trade protection and provided the helpful thoughts for the electromechanical firms successfully responding to trade frictions.

  • An Analysis of the Efficiency of Central Costs in Large-Scale Enterprises (Groups)

In the input of production and operations in large-scale enterprises (groups), central costs have now involved a wider scope, more varieties and larger amounts, and therefore central costs are becoming more and more important how to business performances. The change makes it more and more important to analyze and evaluate the input scale and structures of central costs. The appraisal of common costs such as central costs is always a puzzle in business management. This paper begins with the structures of central costs, introduces data envelopment analysis (DEA) method to analyze and evaluate the central costs, and determines the optimal scale and structure of central costs so as to ensure the input efficiency of central costs and eventually provide large- scale enterprises with scientific and rational basis for allocation and reallocation of central costs and at the same time provide scientific and accurate information for decision costs

  • Reputation model for C2C commerce with filtering merchandise categories

With the large number of buyer and seller agents in C2C commerce, the process managing to establishing trust relations using previous repeated direct interactions is difficult to achieve. In a loosely connected e-market, the best way to establish trust relations is probably with the help of the commendation coming from the buyer agents who have traded with the same seller agent. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the commendation is partly determined by the similarity of contents between historical and present trades — context relevance which is identified through the merchandise categories in this paper. With the concepts — buyer's merchandise-categories reputation and buyer's recommended reputation filtering merchandise categories — being proposed, and the experience cumulative function used for calculating the buyer's recommended reputation and the equation used for aggregating seller's reputation being designed, a reputation system based on SPORAS is improved. Finally, compared with SPORAS, the benefits of filtering merchandise categories to manage reputation in C2C commerce are analyzed according to the excellent experimental results shown.
